Responsible for processes, projects, analysis and solution design to optimally support the Geisinger Patient Access strategy across the care continuum.
Provides assistance to develop, implement and measure targeted initiatives aimed to improve Clinic, ED or hospital access, patient and staff satisfaction.
Analyzes processes, identifies problems and develops process or technology solutions to ensure organizational access targets are achieved.
Participates in project team to create, define and evaluate requirements, testing specifications, communications and training.
Documents and communicates project status to stakeholders.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Demonstrates knowledge in one or more of the following areas: training, process improvement, project management, data analysis or information systems.

Able to analyze data and trends to identify recommended course of action related to access improvement initiatives.

Able to educate others on access processes and create measurable assessment of process adherence.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Related Bachelor’s Degree e.g., Information Systems, Improvement Methodologies (industrial/systems/management), Healthcare Management, Clinical, Public Health, Operations Research, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field required Minimum of 3 years project management and/or healthcare operations experience to deliver effective solutions required.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant improvement methodology project management and/or healthcare operations experience to develop effective programs and deliver effective solutions is required.
Epic Cadence, Certified Health Access Associate (CHAA) and Lean certifications preferred
