The Vice President, Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for the oversight, optimization, and day-to-day operation of the system-wide revenue cycle function for Baptist Health. Ideal candidates will be technically strong, but also able to think strategically, develop a vision for the future, and build a high caliber revenue cycle organization. S/he will establish a metric-driven approach to managing the revenue cycle functional areas and also on reporting on performance against national and market benchmarks. The VP will develop a culture of effective teamwork and be committed to development of downstream staff. This leader should be comfortable working in a large, complex health system and understand the needs locally, as well as across the organization more broadly. They will demonstrate the ability to collaborate and communicate across the organization and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to accomplish goals critical to success. Experience with EPIC systems is required, as Baptist Health is continuing its Epic implementation. The model candidate will be a results-oriented leader with considerable experience managing a wide breadth of revenue cycle functions in a complex healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will have ten or more years of demonstrated success in progressive revenue cycle leadership roles as part of a complex and integrated health system, which includes physician groups and community to quaternary hospitals. Advanced certifications (e.g., HFMA, AAHAM, MGMA) are required and a Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. Experience and knowledge of clinical operations is essential and experience and/or certification with revenue cycle in an EPIC environment is required.
