Owns the overall project, not just the design, effectively support projects and teams, and has creativity, effective oral and written communication, listening and decision making skills.
Provides creative team liaison to management on recommendations regarding creative resources, outsourcing, workflow, traffic, processes, methodologies and other opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and profitability.
Provides concept and creative development for complex, integrated traditional and digital campaigns, ensures client needs and objectives are met within all marketing pieces, delivers concepts and final artwork on time and on budget.
Works directly with other creative team members to brainstorm for innovative ideas appropriate for message, audience, and budget, directly contributes to project design and development, creates graphic concepts and conceives functional design solutions.
Manages design team members by assisting with conceptualization and execution, and ensures that projects adhere to AdventHealth brand standards and align with business goals and objectives.
What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelorâ™s degree in Art, Communication, Marketing or equivalent from an art school OR 10 years of experience in graphic, print, ad, or web design
Minimum 7 years of experience in graphic arts displaying a strong sense of design and leadership capabilities

The Graphic Design Manager is responsible for developing and managing the creation of a wide range of compelling traditional, print, digital, web, and interactive design projects that uphold the mission and objectives of AdventHealth. In partnership with members of the Brand | Digital Marketing team and the Marketing team, the Manager will develop and maintain consistency of look, tone, style and structure of graphic design across all advertising and marketing mediums including print, broadcast, social media, digital and interactive. The Graphic Design Manager will help develop creative strategies for marketing campaigns and assets that educate, inform, and resonate with the organizationâ™s audiences and fulfill the marketing teamâ™s objectives across the state of Florida and beyond.
Additionally, the Graphic Design Manager will provide leadership to the graphic design department including production artists, junior graphic designers, graphic designers and senior graphic designers. She/he manages the graphic design teamâ™s overall efforts to research, ideate, conceptualize, design and present original content that meets the needs of the organization. Assists in building, training, and managing a team of freelance designers to ensure internal brand standards are adhered to. Serves as a lead in communicating and presenting strategies and designs to internal teams and clients when necessary. Actively seeks to forge strategic, creative partnerships with internal teams and clients, in order to identify ways to maximize the design departmentâ™s efforts and helps reach the organizationâ™s goals. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
