P enn State Health Hampden Medical Center will bring acute inpatient medical services to communities in Cumberland, Perry and York counties. It will be located in Enola, PA and will be open to patients in the Summer of 2021.
J OB SUMMARY:
The Director of Critical Care, RN will be responsible for the direction and administration of assigned departments including the intensive care unit, intermediate care unit, nursing education, respiratory therapy and dialysis services. The Director will direct the day to day operations for the assigned departments. The Director will be accountable for implementation and administration of budget, quality improvement initiatives and human resource initiatives. The Director of Critical Care will have expert knowledge of areas of responsibility or secures staff that maintain same expert knowledge of areas of responsibilities. The Director of Critical Care will assure quality patient care safety and compliance with all regulatory bodies for all assigned departments.
M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
M aster's degree in Nursing or related Master's degree
7 or more years related experience of which 5 years include management experience.
C urrent Licensure as a RN in the Commonwealth of PA
B LS certificate required
P REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Nurse Management experience in critical care services preferred
