Gillette is looking for a strong operational leader to join the St. Paul Clinic team in St. Paul, MN.
This position provides department level leadership direction and support to implement the strategic and operational objectives of Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in our ambulatory and virtual care environments. The position has responsibility for ensuring the provision of high quality, safe care and achieving exemplary patient experiences while developing an engaged staff and provider group. The incumbent will monitor overall practice performance, identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient experience, with a strong focus on standardization of workflow. They will develop and introduce approved standards and guidelines for ambulatory care services and programs.
Coordinating the daily access and delivery of service to meet quality, safety, timely, effective, efficient and patient and family centered care expectations.
Develops and implements productivity action plans to meet productivity benchmarks for assigned facilities and related resources
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated ability to complete projects successfully, on time, and within budget
Ensuring that adequately trained staff is available and properly assigned to support the care delivery and achieve the desired patient and organizational outcomes.
Coordinating and/or negotiating goals and service provision with the referring providers and multi-disciplinary and multi-facility team members.
Managing competing needs of growth, program development and financial goals.
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships and communication to advance the care, services and goals
Engagement of providers in developing and implementing operational improvements to the ambulatory clinics.
Master’s degree with a clinical or business focus (obtained or in progress)
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience relevant to the position
Minimum of 3 years of experience in ambulatory operations, nursing leadership, supervisory or managerial role within a relevant clinical setting
Demonstrate ability to initiate significant and complex process improvement initiatives that involve a number of stakeholders
Demonstrate ability to work closely with physicians and clinical providers
Strong knowledge, skills, and experience in communicating with diverse groups, negotiating complex issues and in maintaining professional relationships
Financial and budget management experience; ability to analyze trends and changes in healthcare environment
Management of human resources experience, including recruiting and retention, staffing and performance management
Interest in and commitment to advancing services for individuals with disabilities.
Demonstrated managerial leadership including:
Ability to design and execute new and significantly revised work flows and processes on time and within budget
Ability to manage across function and service types with excellence in staff engagement, customer experience, and operational efficiency
Ability to define, analyze and interpret business information needs to promote and sustain successful operations from customer experience, revenue cycle, and operational efficiency perspectives.
Masters in related field. Additional educational preparation and/or professional certification or advancement
