Responsible for the development and operation of the PSH Project Management Office, providing strategic and tactical facilitation and implementation of strategic projects and reporting project status to senior management on a timely basis. In partnership with the VP Strategic Integration & Execution and other Senior Leadership, the role is responsible for providing a strategic project planning environment that will ensure accountability, integration, consistency, and performance. The role will develop a comprehensive PMO process to provide structure, guidelines and tools to develop, evaluate, prioritize, sequence and manage projects through the entire project life cycle. This position will be responsible for management of the PMO staff, budget and outcomes.
Master's degree required.
10 years of experience with comprehensive knowledge of strategic planning and strategic project portfolio management within a large and complex organization required.
5 years of management experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to collaboratively work as a key team leader
with strategy and finance leaders as well as across the organization.
Ability to multi-task and lead multiple activities as needed.
Ability to plan and manage complex and successful projects; understand and allocate available resources, develop timeline, budget
and assign areas of responsibility.
Experience with change management program integrated within strategic project planning and PLC.
Ability to lead teams to achieve company goals and solve complex business issues in creative and effective ways.
Excellent planning and organizational skills and techniques.
Knowledge of project management systems, methods, and tools; and application within health system organization.
Possesses a strong personal values system which is compatible with PSH values, and includes integrity, honesty, unquestioned
business ethics, and respect for others.
PMP or PgMP Certification preferred.
