WittKieffer has been retained by CentraCare, located in St. Cloud, Minnesota, to conduct the search for their next Vice President, Acute Care Division. This is a unique opportunity to join the leadership team of a growing, high-quality integrated system with strong, stable leadership.

The VP, Acute Care Division will serve as a dyad to the Physician VP, Acute Care Division and will assume operational responsibility for key hospital-based and related acute care sections, including surgery (general surgery, vascular, trauma, anesthesiology, ambulatory surgery center, perioperative services, plastics, urology, weight management, ENT, ophthalmology, oral and maxillofacial, lifestyle center, wound center), hospital medicine (hospitalists, pulmonary medicine, intensivists, infectious disease), women's and newborn health (OB/GYN, laborists, neonatology, maternal-fetal medicine), emergency medicine, orthopedics (including podiatry) and transitional care (hospice, palliative care, senior transitions, utilization review).
Key to success in this role is a deep familiarity with and comfort leading within matrixed organizations with dyad leadership structures. The new Vice President will be a collaborative leader who is able to develop meaningful relationships throughout the organization and is passionate about advancing goals related to access, health equity, quality, service, patient satisfaction and employee and provider engagement. This individual will be an experienced, results-oriented operations executive with a track record of success leading acute care services in a complex, integrated health system. This will include an understanding of operations, continuous performance improvement, care standardization, business development, growth planning, provider alignment and care coordination activities. This seasoned, strategic leader will bring hospital experience in both urban and rural settings, along with a commitment to living within the communities served.
