Hershey Medical Center Location: US: PA: Hershey Work Type: Full Time FTE: 1.0 Shift: Days Hours: 8-5 JOB SUMMARY: The Manager of the Stroke Program, RN is responsible for the development, implementation and management of a comprehensive stroke center. This manager will serve as the clinical expert on all aspects of stroke care to health care professionals, hospital personnel, patients, families and the community. This manager will be a member of the Brain Attack Team who responds to Brain Attacks for Acute Stroke Treatment. The Manager of the Stroke Program will provide leadership in development, maintenance, implementation and evaluation of written are protocols. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Nursing required.
5 years neurology and/or neurosurgery nursing experience required.
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by Pennsylvania Board of Nursing Examiners required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: CNRN certification preferred.
Stroke Coordinator experience preferred.
