| Sentara Healthcare is seeking an experienced and inspirational nursing leader to serve as its next Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. This opportunity allows for a seasoned nursing leader the chance to join one of the preeminent health systems in the country. Serving as a healthcare destination in the Mid-Atlantic region, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a busy, 525-bed medical center, one of just five Level 1 trauma centers in Virginia, region’s first Magnet® hospital and nationally ranked heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital. In addition to a first rate heart program, the hospital is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several dedicated facilities and specialized services. The new CNO will bring a strong focus on advancing quality, safety, stability, patient/team experience and next generational leadership for the hospital. The ideal candidate will be masterful in leading through influence and in partnering to drive clinical and care delivery across Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The CNO will bring depth of experience within a high-performing, high-volume complex delivery system.
