| WittKieffer is proud to announce a search we have just launched with The Health Initiative (THI) to recruit a Chief of Staff. This is an outstanding opportunity to join the leadership team of a fast paced, mission based, social enterprise organization focused on a nationwide effort to spur a critical conversation about – and new investments in – health (safe housing, healthy food, and jobs that enable self-sufficiency). Launched by Co-Founders Rebecca Onie and Rocco Perla in 2018, THI is committed to changing the paradigm about what constitutes health have already had a solid impact shaping the conversation nationally, seeding a campaign for change. The Chief of Staff will be an exceptionally entrepreneurial and resourceful leader with outstanding relationship-building, communication and execution skills. The Chief of Staff's strategic insight and opinions will be valued, so a solid grasp on industry trends and drivers of health will be important. This executive will have the knowledge, experience and maturity to leverage the Co-Founders' time and effort so they can focus on items that will have the greatest impact advancing THI's campaign. THI is considering a range of profiles, including for-profit, nonprofit, government agency, political campaigns, or consulting firms where the delivery of health via improvements in food, housing, wages, employment, economic development and other drivers are clear. Start-up experience would be especially helpful; significant experience building out systems, teams and organizational infrastructure is required. Prior Chief of Staff experience or similar senior executives who can bring an insightful perspective and a quick grasp of big ideas are also of interest.
