Supervisor - Materials Management - CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick

Summary:

The Supervisor shall have 24-hour accountability for Materials Management Operations. Responsible for overall management of the distribution process for supplies and equipment; researching equipment and supply problems; performing other duties as assigned by the Director of the department. Responsible for streamlining the distribution process in order to control supply costs. Responsible for strategic planning for both departments in order to maximize utilization of resources and plan for capital and personnel needs.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Completion of one (1) year college business courses or equivalent related experience required

Ten (10) years in warehousing and inventory is required

Plus five (5) years supervisory related experience is required

Class C license to drive delivery supply trucks and company van or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

Must have a safe driving record with a valid drivers license
