Specialist Risk Management - RN Registered Nurse - Division of Quality Safety Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center
The Risk Management Specialist - RN is responsible for risk mitigation activities for various Penn State Health entities by responding to internal and external inquiries by and for providers and staff. Assists defense counsel and System Claims with administrative activities related to malpractice claims.
Bachelor's degree in business, clinical or risk related discipline or equivalent experience (4 years) required.
5 years of relevant experience required.
CPHRM within three years of employment in role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines and respond in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to manage multiple small projects effectively and efficiently.
Ability to analyze data.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to develop innovative ideas to assist in moving the department forward.
Attention to detail.
Previous RN clinical experience preferred.
RN Registered Nurse preferred.
