The Deputy Associate Director for Patient Care Services (DADPCS) is a senior nurse leader within Patient Care Services and is a key member of the BPVAHCS Executive Leadership Team. The DADPCS promotes a healthy work environment through the implementation of shared-decision-making; a spirit of inquiry and the use of evidence-based practice; and an academic environment supportive of education and research to promote the profession of nursing.
Providing Health Care for Veterans: The Veterans Health Administration is America’s largest integrated health care system, providing care at 1,255 health care facilities, including 170 medical centers and 1,074 outpatient sites of care of varying complexity (VHA outpatient clinics), serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year.
