The Department of Radiology ( https://www.mskcc.org/departments/radiology ) is seeking a highly motivated physician and leader who enjoys program building and faculty development in a complex and fast-paced environment. The successful individual will report to the Department Chair, and the primary job responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the clinical, academic and administrative aspects of the Breast Imaging Service, emphasizing continuous improvement through strategic planning, coordination, and performance evaluation.
• Fostering a sense of community within the Breast Imaging Service (including Radiologists based at Manhattan and the Regional Network) and with other Services in the Department of Radiology, ensuring a coordinated approach to achieve excellent patient care.
• Conducting and nurturing cutting edge breast imaging research and education.
• Recruiting new faculty and developing existing faculty, including providing opportunities for them via local, national and international external networking.
• Maintaining compliance with departmental and institutional policies as well as government rules and regulations.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Board eligible or Board certified in diagnostic radiology
• Eligible for licensure in New York
• Outstanding professional skills and reputation: Possess and model excellence in Breast Radiology clinical service, education and research.
