Project Manager - Healthcare Compliance

WHO WE ARE
Compliance One Group focuses on mitigating risks for their clients' facilities by quickly identifying and assembling effective compliance plans, Life Safety drawings, documentation, and door inspection reports that inspectors and surveyors want to review when they are on-site.

SUMMARY

The Project Manager is an integral member of the Compliance One Group project execution team and will be responsible for managing administrative tasks and performing technical consulting throughout all phases of the project delivery process.

The Project Manager must have the capability to accurately, promptly, and professionally to meet schedule and deliverable requirements as directed by their Supervisor and project teams.

This is a highly visible, client-facing position. The Project Manager must be able to dress professionally, act and speak professionally, and be able to provide constructive feedback during meetings with high-level healthcare clients. The Project Manager must be comfortable presenting to small/medium size groups of people both in-person and via an online platform.

This is a high travel position, approximately 40%-60%, with occasional overnight stays required. This is a full time FLSA exempt position.  It requires at least 40 hours per week with the ability to work additional hours if necessary.  

MAJOR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Tasks

• Accurately administers and maintains life safety documentation.
• Manage project schedule and provide progress updates on a weekly/bi-weekly basis to client.
• Coordinate and prepare client meetings accurately (create and distribute agendas, record meeting minutes, follow-up).
• Prepare client documents/reports accurately and on-time.

Budgeting Tasks

• Maintain project work hours in accordance with budgeted hours for each of the projects.
• Assist with client invoicing.

Project Management Tasks

• Facilitate and maintain effective communication and coordination with clients, contractors, and other project team members.
• Manage the overall client relationship and correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project deadlines on deliverables.
• Manage client expectations and verify project goals are being met.

Code Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, accrediting organization standards, and other authorities having jurisdiction through document review and site surveys.
• Monitor changes in industry standards and code updates.
• Identify and develop industry best practice solutions.
• Provide expert input and resources to the Compliance One Group team.
• Ensures project quality and compliance with project plans/specifications, client specifications /design standards.
• Assist in developing Life Safety compliance plans for facilities.
