This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. The Neurology RN case manager provides direct and indirect outpatient nursing care to patients within the Neurology Service and the Epilepsy Center of Excellence/Northeast (Baltimore VA). The incumbent performs the screening, enrollment, and the coordination of care for patients with epilepsy. The RN completes initial assessments and reassessments of patient condition and response to treatment. He/she initiates follow-up as needed. He/ she promotes the medical center mission, vision, and values; complies with Equal Employment Opportunity programs, partnerships, customer service standards and VA policies and procedures.
