Under the guidance of the Nursing Director, the Assistant Nurse Manager assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of patient care. Assistant Nurse Manager assists in providing administrative direction in the development and evaluation of nursing personnel and contributes to nursing and hospital through support of philosophy, objectives and educational efforts.
Education Graduate from School of Nursing.
Current Florida Nursing License
Current BLS Certification
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of nursing principles in the care of the adult and geriatric patients.
Knowledge of nursing principles and technical skills, while utilizing the nursing process in the delivery of safe patient care
Minimum 1 year experience in Medical/Surgical unit preferred
Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience and six months Charge Nurse
