You Will Be Responsible For:
Leads a team focused on developing, executing, and managing the coordination of nurse resident and experienced nurse training programs including talent acquisition process, orientation, simulation development/support/logistics, and campus educator support needs.
Implements measures to ensure clinical training program activities adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics, the ANA Scope and Standard for Nursing Practice and the State of Florida Nurse Practice Act.
Leads a team that plans, develops, and implements clinical support role training programs.
Partners with other CFD and/or corporate-wide system functions to develop and implement clinical education needs to support training programs.
Shares accountability and responsibility with other clinical programs manager(s) for consistent integrated solutions across the Central Florida Division (CFD).
Responsible for managing others by directing day-to-day work activities, coaching and development, interviewing, hiring, employee performance and executing disciplinary actions as appropriate.
Provide support to Sr Manager, Clinical Programs on budget analysis related to training program items and management of department including, but not limited to; direct reports time and attendance, equipment needs, program materials, department supplies and catering.
Support continual process improvement of clinical training programs; adjustments made as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum two (2) years of acute care nursing practice experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN)
Prior leadership experience (formal or informal)
Prior teaching experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Professional certification from a national organization

The Clinical Programs Manager (CPM) is a registered professional nurse who interfaces with all levels of leadership to align with key initiatives related to clinical learning and development. The CPM provides resources and builds relationships focusing on the mission and objectives set forth by the organization and senior leadership. The CPM acts as operational and strategic resource driving the planning and execution of clinical training programs across the Central Florida Division. The CPM has oversight of multiple types of nurse/nursing support training programs to enhance professional growth of AdventHealth nurses/nursing support teams to address clinical staffing needs across CFD campuses. The CPM actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
