Responsible for the oversight, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of all facts of an effective Patient Safety Program across all William Jennings Bryan Dorn (Dorn) VA Medical Center (VAMC) programs facilities which improve the delivery of safe patient care. The incumbent must have an attitude focused on building a culture of safely that is paramount and the foundation upon which safe operations are based. Advocates for, leads, and manages organizational change to improve patient care safety and quality. Competently applies executes position responsibilities in a manner that demonstrates substantial, continuous, and I-CARE values-based leadership, responsibility, and accountability for oversight of population groups and integrated multidisciplinary healthcare programs.
