The Senior Director, Procurement oversees all strategic sourcing with outside suppliers across all Conifer; leads in the selection, development and optimization of suppliers including overseeing the establishment and adoption of standard operating procedures and processes under which suppliers will interact and conduct business with Conifer; measures and achieves the lowest total cost for products and services while meeting or exceeding quality and delivery expectations of all Conifer centers; negotiates and actively administers business and pricing agreements in concert with contracting; establishes and manages systems to provide supplies and equipment for known work streams, function and shared services groups; member of management team contributing to annual strategic planning and execution; develops, plans, and executes strategic and tactical projects and continuous improvement initiatives; procurement process; drives procurement integration with the Conifer enterprise to maximize efficiency and minimize costs; will help lead the sourcing of a systemic invoices reconciliation solution to standardize invoice reconciliation or services and processing, reducing manual processing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads strategic sourcing planning with all Conifer departments, in coordination with other Conifer personnel, to determine needs for outsourced goods and services.
Direct the prioritization of strategic projects and priorities based on customer and leadership needs, meeting customer demand in a timely manner.
Leads negotiations and helps coordinate contracting activities; minimizing risk through contract terms and service level agreements and maximizing potential cost savings with best in class pricing
Continuously administrates contracts and agreements, including vendor and supplier accounts, equipment, leases and service contracts to resolve issues and provide solutions in advance of material events and rising risks.
Develops a disciplined governance structure and processes within the organization.
Develops request for proposal process and analysis; reviews and approves all responses in conjunction with Legal Department.
Develops a superior working relationship with all suppliers and key individuals within Conifer.
Develops and implements systems to enable process and metrics to measure success.
Prepares reports and required documents for finance and management team.
Leads or participates in cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
Leads in the development of processes and procedures to meet individual and procurement department objectives.
Supervises procurement staff and provides other team members with formal or informal direction and assistance as needed.
Maintains comprehensive contract repository system which incorporates review of volumes and contract terms to ensure accurate supplier payments.
Proactively monitors contract expiration dates to renegotiate potential extension in advance.
Supports other development initiatives related to acquisitions and divestitures and new business.
Acts with honesty and integrity in all business transactions, including, but not limited to, employment applications/resumes, patient records, time records, and financial transactions.

Experience in transitioning business operations to other countries highly preferred
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
Bachelorâ��s degree or equivalent experience in business, retail and/or healthcare administration.
8â��10 years of related experience in supply chain management, procurement, or supplier relationship management, preferably with healthcare and/or industry heavily reliant on IT/technology to enable business.
Experience in financial analysis with knowledge of cost modeling.
Experience working with contracts.
