Full Time Days
You Will Be Responsible For:
Manages store day-to day operations of gift shop
Manages stock levels & making key decisions about stock control including receiving, data entry and pricing.
Analyzing sales figures & forecast future sales to maximize profits.
Using information technology to record sales figures & data analysis & forward planning
Research new ways to improve sales & meeting customer demands
Deal with staffing issues, organizing training & development
Responding to customer complaints & comments
Negotiating and buying skills with venders regarding price, cost and shipping
Assertive skills with the ability to manage conflict in a variety of situations
What You Will Need:
High School required
A minimum of two years’ experience in Retail Sales, Volunteer Services, or related role.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Handles management related activities directed towards gift shop operations. Accountable for day-to-day operations, including scheduling, maintenance and store cleanliness. Trains gift shop volunteer staff and is responsible for overall quality of store to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the Gift Shop. Responsible for designing shelves and display of all merchandise in Gift Shop. Also responsible for leading the recruitment, training/retraining and development of hospital volunteers. This position provides administrative oversight over the volunteer program.
