The Senior Business Relationship Manager anticipates current and future business needs independently. The Senior Business Relationship Manager ensures the IT services are suitable and effective from the point of view of busines partners. Leads activities and facilitates relationships with business leaders and teams independently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment between business partners and Health IT. The candidate will work with business partners to understand their requests and align them with HealthIT capacity. The senior position will have the expectation of fully understanding business partner capabilities and priorities as well as Healh IT capacity and pipeline. Ideal candidates will have vast experience with business analysis (current/future workflows, impact analysis, vendor analysis, RFPs, etc). Experience with rev cycle and patient access are preferred.
Provides initial shaping of business requests with emphasis on identifying executive sponsorship and funding
Prepares items for triage
Provides routine rounding with business, ensuring ongoing communication with business partners, understands business functions and assists with business priority definition
Provides different types of analysis including vendor analysis, impact analysis, process/gap analysis, requirements gathering. NOTE: Level of role tied to complexity/impact of project.
Manages analysis effort including coordination, planning, facilitation, etc.

COMMUNICATION (ADVANCED): Clearly, effectively and respectfully communicates to employees or customers.
PROJECT ISSUES MANAGEMENT (INTERMEDIATE): Demonstrates mastery of Issues Management in practical applications of a difficult nature. Adept at identifying issues before they become problems and assigning those issues to the right people at the right time. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully managing internal project issues without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to anticipate and resolve unplanned project issues as they arise.
DEMAND MANAGEMENT (ADVANCED): Ability to coordinate, shape and manage business requests in order to present to leadership for disposition. Helps business prioritize requests.
BUSINESS ARCHITECTURE (INTERMEDIATE): Has detailed knowledge of the architecture of the business systems which support more than one core business area. Demonstrates knowledge of how the core business areas' applications and support systems are structured, how various components and parts interact, as well as what protocols and interfaces are used for communications and cooperation between components.
RELATIONSHIP BUILDING (ADVANCED): Develops cooperative internal and external relationships.
BUSINESS IMPACT ANALYSIS (ADVANCED): The identification of critical business processes and the potential damage or loss that may be caused to the organization resulting from a disruption to those processes, or perhaps from a proposed change.
Organizational Impact: Independently delivers on objectives with understanding of how they impact the results of own area/team and other related teams.
Problem Solving/ Complexity of work: Utilizes multiple sources of data to analyze and resolve complex problems; may take a new perspective on existing solution.
