What You Will Need:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at time of hire.
Minimum of two years in clinical PACU nursing experience.
Current, valid Florida State of Nursing license as a registered professional nurse.
Certification from a national organization within two years of hire i.e. CEN.
As a Nurse Manager with AdventHealth Waterman, you will make providing service your priority while caring for the whole person in a faith-based atmosphere. The Nurse Manager is a registered professional who has the most direct impact on the care and services that patients and families require throughout their hospital experience. The Nurse Manager is directly responsible to the Director and the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24/7 continual operations of the Department. The Nurse Manager is able to demonstrate critical thinking, creativity, and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. The Nurse Manager is skilled in coaching, motivating, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in the delivery of services to our patient population. The Nurse Manager assures quality of care delivery for our patients and demonstrates effective stewardship of resources. The Nurse Manager is the change agent for the unit and is responsible for implementing any changes that the unit is required to undergo in an effective, positive manner. The Nurse Manager actively participates in outstanding customer service, including service to patients, families, physicians, and other contacts while accepting responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful.
