In this role, you will serve as the Title IV Regulations Manager for the Center for Programs in Allied Health (CPiAH) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In this position you will be responsible for helping CPiAH meet and maintain its compliance objectives relative to necessary and proper administration of all federal, state and local student financial assistance including scholarships, veterans' education benefits and military tuition assistance. The Title IV Regulations Manager will also provide strategic oversight and expert-level guidance related to compliance with federal student financial aid regulations, all within a dynamic and changing environment.
VUMC's Center for Programs in Allied Health consists of a team of 19 employees currently. This position reports to the Director of the Center for Programs in Allied Health. The team is housed within the office of Health Science Education.

Serve as the internal compliance subject matter expert responsible for developing and maintaining the financial aid office's policies and procedures manual and financial aid portion of the catalog/student handbook.
Coordinate and work collaboratively with CPiAH Leadership and financial aid team to create new policies, enhance existing policies and procedures, and implement new policies and procedures, as well as to disseminate essential information.
Be responsible for maintaining an ongoing regulatory training, assuring regulatory awareness and operational effectiveness of the financial aid calendar and requirements to ensure on time reporting.
Collect and prepare student record data for audit testing and work with the financial aid administrative team to rectify audit findings.
Possess a thorough knowledge of Title IV and Higher Education regulations. Participate in local, regional and national professional associations remaining up to date on regulations, rules and pending legislation.
Provide oversight of financial aid team with respect to mandatory reporting and timeframes on disbursements and return of funds to DOE.
Conduct quarterly internal audits of student Financial Aid records and oversee financial aid administration with any compliance reviews or investigations.
Interface with Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Office of Compliance & Corporate Integrity team to supply data and other information to support VUMC compliance initiatives.
Be familiar with the financial aid and student information systems.
Research regulatory questions and respond to Department of Education Federal Student Aid student complaints.
Provide reports and write responses to DOE in consultation with other VUMC offices.
NLSDS, COD and FAFSA knowledge.
Manage Gainful Employment reporting and disclosures through the U.S. Department of Education.
Responsible for attending Allied Health Meetings.
Responsible for attending National, State, Regional and local conferences/meetings. Examples include NASFAA, TASFAA, SAFAA and etc.
Complete audits on current and future programs records per programmatic requirements.
Other duties as assigned by VUMC's CPiAH leadership.
