Optimize supplier relationships while maximizing value and ensuring uninterrupted product flow of essential supplies to keep plasma centers operating.
Develop project plans and manage projects to implement short and long-term sourcing strategies for procurement categories.
Directly responsible for management of individuals and compliance of programs/systems to affect total cost efficiencies.
Interface regularly and partners with senior Procurement as well as related management functions to guarantee consistency of strategies as well as overall company goals.
Design sourcing strategies and develop internal / supplier relationships that extract maximum value from the current and potential supplier base.
Coaches direct reports to establish annual goals and long range plans from a professional and business perspective.
Monitor category and / or supplier spending, both in aggregate and via patterns / cycles, and continuously evaluate options to reduce total cost of ownership. In depth understanding of supplier capabilities, capacity and overall financial stability.
Develop and manage working relationships with both internal Takeda functions and suppliers to manage resolution of supplier issues.
Manage analysis of complex problems related to suppliers and continuity of supply requiring in-depth analysis of supplier management principles. Â

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:Â
Essential: Bachelors degree.
Desired: MBA, CPM and APP
Ability the think strategically and globally
Excellent project management, facilitation, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Financial acumen, high degree of ethics
Ability to build strategical supplier relationships
Minimum of 7 â 10 years overall business and/or purchasing experience.
Travel up to 10% may be required.
