The Program Manager for Clinical Innovation will help identify opportunities to design, test, and diffuse innovative services that transform and/or enhance clinical care delivery and operational efficiency at CHRISTUS Health. He/She will use scientific principles to address improvement needs in new and different ways for patients in the healthcare environment. This includes helping to assess feasibility and potential ROI for proposed innovative solutions (i.e. advancements in telemedicine), developing and implementing project plans for new services, facilitating sustainability in diffused innovation programs, as well as potential research protocols. In order to be successful, the incumbent will need to work with a diverse array of internal stakeholders to develop innovation design playbooks, diffusion plans, and collect supporting information to construct the business case for new interventions. This may require collaborating with clinical leaders to improve current operations to support successful implementation of new and innovative solutions. The Program Manager of Innovation will help develop and monitor deadlines, budgets, and other activities, as well as provide project status updates to stakeholder groups and upper level leadership. Excellent communication and facilitation skills will be imperative for this role.
Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, creating and implementation of design and deployment plans for large-scale innovations.Including the planning, and sequences of human and technical resources
Maintain ongoing communication with internal stakeholders and external partners on the development and implementation of new innovation modalities
Work with the Director- Virtual Care and Clinical Innovation to prepare information for advisory committee meetings, ensuring timely material preparation, agenda development, work plan execution, and the completion of required committee follow up items
Develop supportive relationships with internal departments and external vendors that interface with the Clinical Excellence Division
Work with operations teams to create sustainability plans for ongoing program evaluation to ensure innovative solutions continue to yield improvements in patient care and institutional financials
Serve as a key member of the VC&CI team by assisting with the development of requirements/design sessions, and producing deliverables
Provide support to leadership by optimizing operations to support successful implementation and maintenance of new solutionsÂ
Bachelorâ€™s Degree in business or healthcare related field required.
Masterâ€™s Degree preferredÂ
Demonstration of experience with progressive leadership in a large complex healthcare system, serving multi-disciplinary customers preferred
Clinical care experience preferredÂ
Experience in healthcare innovation strategy and/or virtual care planning preferredÂ
Experience in implementation and support of healthcare innovation requiredÂ
