Job Summary Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, the Manager, Benefits & HR Shared Services is responsible for day-to-day management of the HR Shared Services department, which encompasses administration of all employer sponsored Health & Welfare plans, Retirement plans, Leave Administration and Shared Services functions. Works directly with the Shared Services Supervisors to implement all processes tied to the annual Wellness Premium Incentive campaign, National Healthcare Reform initiatives and various Harris Health specialty programs. Also serves as a voting Committee member for both of the Board appointed retirement committees.
Minimum Qualifications Degrees / Work Experience / School Education: Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration or related (And) Seven (7) Years Work Experience in Benefits administration, to include Health & Welfare plans, Retirement plans, and Leave & Disability.
High School Diploma or GED (And) Eleven (11) Years Work Experience in Benefits administration, to include Health & Welfare plans, Retirement plans, and Leave & Disability.
Licenses & Certifications: CEBS, CBP, SPRH or other certifications preferred
Management Experience: Five (5) years of supervisory experience in HR, Benefits or Leave & Disability administration.
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing /Composing: Correspondence, Reports
Proficiencies: MS Word, Personal Computer
