The Board & Donor Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting the donor and board engagement activities for the Foundation President and manages all aspects of the Foundation Board of Directors, to further the Foundation’s fundraising goals. This integral member of the Foundation team supports high-level donor engagement events, donor outreach and stewardship activities, and uses excellent written and oral communication skills in daily, broad exposure to donors, community leaders, physician partners and hospital departments. This position will have a keen attention to detail ensuring accuracy and donor data integrity, and professional demeanor to ensure that interactions with key constituencies, both inside and outside the organization are smooth.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Provide support to the Foundation President and board including scheduling meetings, events, and other activities to further the Foundation’s fundraising goals.
Manage the board logistics, including committees, terms, and ongoing board business
Create and execute engagement strategies with development team to retain current donors and attract new donors.
Build strong relationships with contacts including board members, hospital administrative and physician partners, event vendors, local businesses and donors.
Ability to be at work and be on time.
Ability to follow company policies, procedures and directives.
Ability to interact in a positive and constructive manner.
Ability to prioritize and multitask, under the direction of the Foundation President.
