WittKieffer and Vanderbilt Health have partnered in the national search for a newly created role: President, Regional Community Hospitals. The President will be a servant leader who is nimble and politically astute to join an exceptional Vanderbilt Health leadership team. The President will be the advocate of the four community hospitals in this evolving and dynamic health system that is anchored by one of the top Academic Medical Centers in the nation. The new President will oversee operations for the hospitals within Vanderbilt Health that are outside of Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). This is an outstanding opportunity to guide and lead the local communities and VUMC in a harmonization effort with the ultimate goal of providing high quality and safe patient care in a coordinated fashion.
The qualified candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated success with progressive growth in responsibilities in a similarly complex and successful healthcare delivery system. The preferred candidate will have experience working in both community-based hospitals and academic medical centers. The chosen new President will possess extensive knowledge in healthcare operations and regulatory best practices. The successful candidate will bring a combination of vision, energy and inspiring leadership, with a solid record of accomplishment of encouraging a people-focused, diverse and inclusive culture.
