Registered Nurse - Acute/Specialty Care Nurse Manager
The Acute/Specialty Care Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible to manage one or more defined areas in Acute Care. The NM allocates available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate nursing care, based on current standards of practice. The NM provides clinical and administrative leadership and expertise, serves as a link between nursing personnel and other disciplines, and implements the vision, mission, plans and standards of the Medical Center and Nursing Services. The Acute/Specialty Care Nurse Manager demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others.
