Saint Vincent Hospital and MetroWest Medical Center, part of Tenet Physician Resources, seeks an experienced Revenue Cycle Management Analyst to support our approximately 350 providers in the Boston market.
The Senior Analyst provides RCM analytics for the practice managers and staff, including payer trends for edits, rejects and denials of claims. This role requires knowledge of physician practice revenue cycle management and the ability to train and coach providers and their support staff in billing and collection best practices. The role requires movement throughout the Boston market, about 75% of the time. (Mileage reimbursement is paid to employees).
High degree of proficiency in Excel is essential. The Senior Analyst will analyze trends, metrics, KPI's and interpret these results for the Senior Management team, providers and staff.
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
5+ yearsâ�� experience in Revenue Cycle in large physician practice or revenue cycle company is required.
Excellent written/verbal & presentation communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of Excel/Outlook/Word/PowerPoint.
Athena Practice management systems experience a plus.
Experience with front end claim editing systems and eligibility software systems.
Knowledge of payer and industry rules and regulations.
Ability to work independently without onsite direct supervision.
Ability to handle multiple projects and adjust priorities.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
