MemorialCare’s Executive Director of Enterprise Ancillary Applications is responsible for the overall strategy of our enterprise wide applications outside of Epic and those comprising the ERP ecosystem. Applications such as Cerner Lab, Philips monitoring, Syngo imaging, etc. The director understands the technology landscape across all of MemorialCare and ensures the applications and systems are operating at peak efficiency, are upgraded timely, or replaced appropriately. This director provides staff support as they manage these enterprise applications across the entire business. The director collaborates with other IS leaders, leaders throughout shared services as well as campus and foundation leadership to standardize common platforms, support and services for the purpose of maximizing operational efficiencies and value. Staying current with business trends, researching new and future services and capabilities and collaborating with key business leaders to ensure they and their teams understand what is available and what is coming. And to map these key customer needs and expectations to the best opportunities available in the way of IS services, applications and support.
Responsible for ensuring all Enterprise Ancillary projects are managed to established milestones, within budget and have outstanding outcomes, partnering with IS project management and his/her leadership to overcome any roadblocks to meet the needs of the business. This will include the effective and efficient management of 3rd party consultants. The Director of Enterprise Ancillary Apps will also be a key member MHVI IT Steering Committee and the routine meetings with Breast Center administrative and clinical leaders and key customers. Ensuring monthly meetings are provided for, giving updates of key initiatives, areas of concern, and general awareness and direction of IS Enterprise Apps key initiatives.
Functions as a senior IS leader and a key point of contact for all levels of user management and staff. Collaborates with other IS leaders throughout MemorialCare to provide a unified, high quality, service-oriented department. Aligns enterprise-wide information technology vision(s) and resources with overall MHS business strategies, integrating operational and organization processes, applications and technologies. Will be highly engage with the vendors with applications already in use throughout MemorialCare. Understanding their roadmaps, anticipating their updates and ensuing adoption and training plans are implemented for seamless transition to new versions and features.
