Configuration and Process
Responsible for facilitating the change management process. Develop tactical plans in alignment with strategic goals of the organization. Work with IS management, technical architects and business leaders to ensure the alignment between technical and business strategies. Share responsibility, with IS management, as business relationship manager to client areas. Expert understanding of business requirements across multiple areas with demonstrated expertise in one or more domains. Participate in vendor selection process to ensure the products or solutions meet the needs of the business. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams to design, implement and validate complex solutions ensuring alignment with the business needs of a world class medical center. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles and concepts of program management, including expert skills with relevant project management tools. Communicate effectively across all levels within the organization. Demonstrate expert process and application knowledge through presentations within user communities, conferences and professional organizations. Influence product development through participation in appropriate channels. Build and maintain a strong network with peers across other organizations.
Provide analysis and support to resolve highly complex issues. Serve as liaison between staff to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Partner with business owners to identify the most valuable initiatives. Oversee appropriate change control methods are followed to implement system solutions.
Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of service level agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered support. Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures. Model outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.
Locate and leverage available enterprise resources, including peer connections, to share expert knowledge and skills within supported business areas. Maintain a professional image at all times and serve as an ambassador of CCHMC. Work well with others and foster a positive team environment. Share responsibility to guide, motivate and encourage teamwork. Develop and deliver training objectives as necessary. Mentor analysts to assist with professional guidance and ensure best practices are followed. Monitor workloads and ensure ongoing alignment with business priorities. Serve as delegate for IS management as necessary.
