SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Manager Process Improvement is the leader of the day-to-day operations for identifying, executing, and monitoring complex enterprise wide quality improvement initiatives to ensure achievement of sustained excellence in quality, performance improvement, patient safety and the patient/family experience. Works closely with key quality/patient safety leaders within the institution to ensure the organization achieves and sustains outstanding performance on key, nationally standardized metrics of quality and patient safety. This role will include program management of quality incentive programs across the hospital as well as external partnerships and collaboratives. Serves as a coach for direct reports as well as matrixed resources within Quality & Patient Safety and develops an adequate infrastructure of quality improvement training, coaching, performance improvement teams, metrics, analytics development and reporting/communication. Provides direct supervision of department staff including staffing, performance evaluation, and staff management.
Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field, Science, Engineering, or other relevant discipline required.
Five (5) years of progressively responsible, relevant quality improvement leadership experience.
