Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join the Hospice team at Morristown Medical Center. Hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm (Monday through Friday - weekends as needed).
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. The candidate will collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
- Candidate will be able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to assess and establish a plan of care for seriously ill patients and their families.
- Candidate will be able to mentor field staff in all aspects of caring for hospice patients.
- Candidate will be knowledgeable regarding Medicare COPs and Joint commission standards.
- Candidate will have excellent speaking and computer skills.
- Candidate will be a dynamic individual who will oversee patients residing in their homes, facilities and hospitals.

Minimum Education:
- Completion of accredited nursing program required
Education:
Licenses/Certification:
- Valid NJ RN license
- BLS required
Relevant Experience:
- 3-4 years of Hospice experience
- 1-2 years of Supervisory experience
