Job Duties
Serves in an expanded nursing role to develop, coordinate and provide oversight for the training program. Collaborates with the management team to design the staff orientation and ongoing staff development and training program. Develops orientation, and educational materials and process improvements to promote high quality orientation and ongoing professional development. Works with the leadership team to design, build and maintain documentation tools to support high quality and efficient processes.
- Designs, implements and evaluates education programs that enhance the patient experience and drive quality outcomes.
- Provides oversight to new employees, assisting with orientation scheduling, training, integration among all teams, and information systems training.
- Develops training materials for onboarding and ongoing staff development programs.
- Directs individual professional development through mentoring, coaching and education.
- Identifies staff with opportunities and designs staff-specific development plans to address gaps in performance and improve efficiency.
- Develops ongoing development programs that promote staff development as well as target opportunities for staff optimization.
- Provides training programs utilizing community based clinical experts.
- Leverages technology to support onboarding and staff development.
- Develops documentation tools to promote reliable and accurate documentation, assuring delivery of data elements.
- Evaluates and identifies problems, and proposes process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness that drives quality outcomes.
- Designs training programs to optimize outcomes across the health continuum with a focus on effective and safe transitions, quality care, utilization management and reducing avoidable readmissions back to acute care.

Work Schedule/Details:
- Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM
- This position is primarily work from home
- Travel (up to 25%) will be required for in person meetings throughout the state
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call
