Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center, a planned 341,000-square-foot acute care hospital, will enhance an already vibrant network of primary and specialty care providers across Lancaster County. The new hospital will feature 129 private inpatient beds, an emergency department, physician offices, various specialty inpatient services, an imaging lab and complete medical and surgical capabilities. SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for assisting Director with organizational wide program in risk management, which includes risk prevention activities, staff education, compliance with patient safety regulations and claims management. Integrate risk activities to reduce liability, and improve quality and patient safety throughout including inpatient and outpatient services. Leads and coordinates Lancaster Medical Center's (LMC) continuous adherence to risk management strategies.
Bachelor's degree in business, clinical or risk related discipline or equivalent (4) years of relevant experience required.
