Geisinger has an exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified Pediatrician to join an established FQHC-like clinic in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.The ideal candidate would be someone with 2-3 years of clinical experience, interest in medically complex and/or underserved populations, and Spanish-speaking. New graduates will be considered.
The practice consists of 2 Pediatricians, 1 nurse practitioner and shared nurses and front desk support staff with Family Medicine. This practice is also currently recruiting an advanced practice provider (NP or PA). You will see 20-24 patients per day, with potential to grow.
The schedule is Monday – Friday. Call is shared with the larger group of Pediatricians and is 4-5 times/year. Saturday clinic hours are from 8 AM – 12 PM and 2-3 time per month covering phone calls.
Community Care Hazleton is an FQHC-like practice featuring primary care for all ages with family medicine physicians. The Pediatrics team provides general pediatrics, with connections to Geisinger's pediatric subspecialists. We provide same-day and evening appointments. We are welcoming new patients and Geisinger accepts most major health insurance plans.
