Geisinger Mountain Top is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.
Job Duties
At Geisinger Mountain Top we offer primary care and specialty services. Our staff members go above and beyond to deliver our robust care model to ensure they receive the best quality care possible.
We are proud to give our primary care providers the innovative tools and support they need to do what they do best - provide exceptional care through:
- Appointments: Patients age 65+ received extended forty- minute appointments; twenty-minute appointments for patients under 65 and acute care visits.
- Daily huddles with all care team members to review essential information about schedules, patients, resource needs and coordination of care
- Pharmacists to assist with patient education and medication management
- Availability of care managers, health managers, clinic health associates and coding educators to providers
- Increased access to care by means of eVisits, patient portals and Geisinger's ConvenientCare urgent care clinics
