Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full-Time Manager for the Environmental Services Department. Required hours vary, including every other weekend.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:

This is a leadership position and will oversee operations of the Linen and Environmental Services Departments.

• Directly overseeing Supervisors/Team Leaders to ensure quality.
• Training Team Members as needed.
• Improving patient throughput by reducing turnaround times for both discharge cleaning and patient transport.
• Provides a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and team members at all times.
• Must be able to bend/lift/push/pull 50lbs.

Minimum Education Required

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.

Minimum Experience Required

• Must possess strong leadersip skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak/understand English.
• Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time.
• Position includes cleaning of blood and bodily fluids.
• Great customer service/people skills required.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Previous experience managing Environmental Services in a healthcare environment preferred.
