Overview
Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full-Time Manager for the Environmental Services Department. Required hours vary, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:
This is a leadership position and will oversee operations of the Linen and Environmental Services Departments.
- Directly overseeing Supervisors/Team Leaders to ensure quality.
- Training Team Members as needed.
- Improving patient throughput by reducing turnaround times for both discharge cleaning and patient transport.
- Provides a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and team members at all times.
- Must be able to bend/lift/push/pull 50lbs.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Required
- Must possess strong leadersip skills.
- Must be able to read, write and speak/understand English.
- Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time.
- Position includes cleaning of blood and bodily fluids.
- Great customer service/people skills required.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Previous experience managing Environmental Services in a healthcare environment preferred.
