Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager / RN is a Registered Nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Department and collaborates with other members of the health care team. Assistant Manager / Registered Nurse directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all department staff members. ssistant Nurse Manager / RN assumes house supervision duties as assigned.

Education

Required: Academic degree in nursing
Preferred: Bachelors or Masters degree

Experience

Required: Previous acute care supervisory experience

Certifications

Required:

• RN Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
• BSN preferred
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart or equivalent)
• ACLS certification (American Heart or equivalent)
