Allina Health is seeking an experienced executive leader to serve as the Vice President (VP) of the Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute (AHMHI). Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute (AHMHI) is seeking an experienced executive leader to serve as the Vice President (VP) of the Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute (AHMHI).
AHMHI, over the last 40 years, has grown to be one of the top cardiovascular centers in the world - and is consistently ranked #1 in the Twin Cities, within the top 1% of programs nationally for Cardiology and Heart Surgery by US News and World Report, and top 20 cardiology programs world-wide by Newsweek.
The Institute consists of over 200 clinicians with more than 80 cardiologists, 12 vascular surgeons and eight cardiothoracic surgeons. With over 1,200 employees, the team provides leadership, clinical experience and research expertise, allowing AHMHI to carry out its mission of excellence. AHMHI is built upon the foundation of strong clinical partnerships and Whole Person Care, an approach that recognizes all factors impacting health are connected – mind, body, spirit and community.
Reporting directly to the President of the Allina Health Heart Institute, the VP will be responsible for the development and oversight of all aspects of AHMHI and will be supported by operations leaders for cardiovascular services at the three metro-hospital sites of care as well as a strategy/business development lead.
Master's degree in Health Administration or Business Administration with healthcare concentration is required.
