The role you’ll contribute:
Manages behavioral health daily operations.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which support the strategic plan
and vision. Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services. Oversees
performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees
scheduling, recruitment, and payroll. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance,
departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree
- required.
- 3 years of experience required.
- 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
One or more of the following:
- Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Psychologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. LBSI (Learning Behavior Specialist) certification also accepted in lieu of.
- Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
