Overview
Chilton Medical Center, part of Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager on the Cardiac Care Unit from 2pm - 10pm. This exciting opportunity is Full Time.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Function:
- Assist with the day-to-day management and operations of the Cardiac Care Unit
- Candidate assists the manager with personnel interviews
- Candidate will participate in regulatory audits i.e. Department of Health and The Joint Commission and monthly hospital audits
- Flexible with schedule to meet the units needs
- Participates and coordinates daily huddles, monthly staff meetings and department meetings
- Mentors staff
- Collaborates new hire orientation with educators
- Charge duties and responsibilities
- Participate in Shared Governance committees
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
- Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Purpose, Respect, Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion and Extraordinary Caring) in every aspect of their job.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills
Qualifications
Education:
- BSN required
- Masters preferred
License/Certification:
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License Required
Relevant Experience:
- At least 4 years of Cardiac/Critical Care experience as a Registered Nurse
