In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.

All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.

Job Description
Memorial Sloan Kettering is currently seeking a Project Manager / Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic clinical research team. At MSK, we are running one of the largest clinical trials programs for cancer in the country, conducting hundreds of clinical trials to improve cancer care. Improving our time to activation for research studies is a critical goal for us to ensure competitiveness in the industry.
In the Project Manager / Business Intelligence Analyst role, you will be responsible for leading protocol activation initiatives to extract and analyze related data; design and build reports, reporting tools and other end-user information resources; and present data in visually accessible formats for decision making purposes. You Will:
- Gather information and data from disparate teams, groups, sources, and systems to support the team's initiatives.
- With some supervision, meet with hospital leadership and/or project sponsors and stakeholders to transform business questions into data-driven, analytical questions in order to advance business needs.
- Independently query, manage, and perform quality assurance on data for related analyses.
- Create presentations, reports, graphs, dashboards, and other communications to keep institutional leaders and stakeholders apprised of project status or to support their work product.
- Review operational and financial processes to supplement and contextualize data analyses.
- Work collaboratively with data analysts, project managers, and process engineers, reviewing work and brainstorming ideas.
- Manage cross functional relationships to navigate disparate and complex data sets.
- Initiate and maintain ongoing dialogue with internal partners regarding project scope/details, directions, tasks, timeline - ensuring that all parties remain on the same page.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management and hospital administration, and create executive level dashboards to simplify conclusions around complex data sets.
You Are:
- Able to work independently to extract, manipulate, analyze and present data.

You Have:
- 2-4 years' work experience as a Clinical Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or other primarily data-related role; clinical research or other health care industry experience is a plus.
- Experience working with Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or data-related field preferred.
This position will be primarily remote with 2-3 on-site days per month in New York City. This may change based on current climate/institutional expectations.
