Focuses on physician relationships, staff relations, customer service, conflict resolution, and financial management. Job Duties: Ensures hospital-based practices meet operational, revenue cycle, quality and financial benchmarks. Demonstrates human resource management through effective supervision, retention, performance and compliance with Meritas/NKCH Policies and Procedures, employment laws and regulatory standards. Meets with physicians and practice managers to ensure practices have effective and efficient clinical operations to include patient flow patterns to maximize physician schedules, referral management process, patient communication and scheduling to foster a customer service focus and culture. Monitors patient satisfaction by overseeing survey process, reviews patient feedback and resolves complaints for grievances that have been escalated above the practice manager. Maintains specialty certification programs by interpreting policies and educating Meritas managers, physicians, and team members. Understands and ensures regulatory and NKCH program compliance by monitoring progress reports and determining plans of action. Coordinates with hospital administration and personnel to ensure that the operations are effective and efficient within the system and for patients while maintaining quality Responsible for physician, APP and caregiver engagement within the service line. Performs all other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration, Masters Degree in business or healthcare preferred Minimum of ten years experience, and thorough working knowledge in all aspects of medical management specifically on anesthesiology and hospital based practices Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE), preferred Thorough working knowledge of EMR computer systems and working knowledge of risk management & regulatory statutes (e.g. HIPAA OSHA, CLIA). Excellent interpersonal skills: must have strong verbal & written communication skills.
