Physician - .25 FTE Medical Director We are seeking an experienced Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to lead our MultiCare Advanced Primary Care Clinics in Spokane and Tacoma, WA. This team will improve the quality of care for high-risk, complex patients through a multi-disciplinary team approach to care delivery. What you'll do:
Manage panel of up to 500 patients
Design, develop, review, and execute clinical protocols, performance objectives, compliance measures, and provider workflow planning.
Lead clinical improvement initiatives with the aim of improving quality and health outcomes.
Invest in our patients by implementing strategies that help prevent complications from chronic, complex medical problems.
Participates in the hiring, evaluation, counseling, and termination of clinical team members (including physicians and nurse practitioners). What you'll need:
Proven ability to provide leadership to staff and to build the trust and respect of patients, family members, staff, colleagues and external contacts
Board certified/eligible at time of employment
Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
