We are looking for a PM&R Pain Management physician to join our large medical group full time in Pewaukee, WI.

Our physician subspecialties include hand and upper extremity, spine, arthroplasty, total joint reconstruction, sports medicine, foot, and ankle surgeries. All physicians at Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin are fellowship trained in specialty orthopaedic; are Board Certified or Board Eligible; and have advanced training in their respective fields: arthroscopic, reconstructive, and fractural surgeries.

Medical and surgical services at Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin are complemented by orthopaedic physician assistants, nurses, and other allied health professionals to aid patients post injury and post-surgery.

Our orthopaedic physicians share their knowledge, skills, and experience to the broader medical community through teaching and publishing at the local, regional, and national levels.

Duties:

• Patient exam/consultation (HPI, medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging)
• Diagnosis and create a Treatment plan
• Provide therapies and treatment for a wide range of pain conditions
• Outpatient clinic work daily
• Order/review imaging/records/labs
• Communicate and consult with other physicians regarding patient needs
• Discuss actions with patients that will help improve their lives/ Patient education
• Follow HIPAA Guidelines
• Keep precise medical records for each patient
• Prescribe necessary medications or therapy
• Explain all medical procedures and test results thoroughly
• Provide patients with plan of care details
• Treatments/Diagnosis to include performing epidurals, EMG’s, and other pain management procedures

Requirements:

• BC/BE Pain Management Physician, Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician, or Anesthesiologist
• Fellowship trained preferred
• Current and valid WI State medical license

Schedule:

• Full-time
• 40-45 hour work week
