Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks board-certified physician with a CAQ in primary care sports medicine to serve as the Assistant Program Director for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship in beautiful Columbia, SC.

Our new assistant program director will:

• Be board certified/board eligible in primary care sports medicine
• Be committed to providing patient care in their primary specialty
• Have a strong desire to work with Division I student athletes as a team physician at the University of South Carolina
• Demonstrate proficiency in MSK ultrasound and procedures relevant to primary care sports medicine
• Have a passion for interprofessional education (including medical students, physician assistant students, family medicine residents, and athletic training students as well as sports medicine fellows in a variety of settings)
• Have previous experience as a Division I collegiate team physician (can include time in fellowship training)
• Enhance the fellowship with their unique skills (could include osteopathic manipulative medicine)
• Have experience in working as part of a collaborative multi-specialty team
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Support the mission of the fellowship program
