The role you’ll contribute: Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, assures 24-hour responsibility/accountability for clinical and fiscal management of the Director of Progressive Care Unit/Short Stay Unit/ Dialysis Suite. Collaborates with the CNO to assure that departmental and organizational goals are met. Maintains awareness of legal, professional, regulatory and organizational goals. Responsible and accountable for directing all aspects of management and ensures the provision of optimum patient care with authority for the ongoing operation, sustainability, and enhancement of the assigned unit. Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, strategies and performance of the department. Ensures the provision of the highest quality nursing services, regardless of the age, disability, economic status, gender, national origin, race, and religion or health problems of the client served.

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Texas or a Compact Registered Nurse License from a NCLA Compact State.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- BLS
- ACLS
- Leadership Experience
